Ah! At last, Christmas panto is here. What better way to spend an evening with your family and loved ones shouting at actors while revelling in merriment! We can’t think of a better way either, well, without possibly getting chucked out of the globe… So, as always, let us guide you through our top Panto picks for the season. For the record, it’s taking all of our strength not to insert a ‘He’s behind you’ joke into this post. We won’t break. We definitely won’t… Promise.
The World’s Biggest Panto
I am not sure if there’s anything more we even need to say other than the above. Read it again. The world’s biggest panto. This is what a true panto fans dreams are made of! It’s at Wembley arena, so you know it’s going to be big. It’s going to be starring Martin Kemp and Bradley Walsh, so you can be sure it’s going to be hilarious. It’s also going to be Peter Pan! So, that pretty much ticks every box for the ultimate panto we can think of!
Did we mention… WORLD’S BIGGEST PANTO.
Cinderelly Cinderelly! Timeout have recommended Hackney Empire’s Cinderella and we help but totally agree with them. It’s delightfully bonkers, as panto always should be and looking at the cast, you’ll be in for a real treat. From long-standing director Susie Mckenna we can happily assure you that this panto is a safe bet. Sate your panto cravings with Cinderella!
Jack and the Bean Stalk!
If you’re planning something a little ‘less central’ then Jack and the Bean Stalk, at the new Wimbledon theatre, is the show for you. Starring the hilarious Al Murray and Clive Rowe there’s definitely nothing to lose, get to booking and prepare to get laughing!
See, there’s plenty of options for you and the family to enjoy a panto this year! Where’s the perfect panto??? IT’S BEH… We’re done. Sorry.
